Design & Modelling

Due to the complexity of the physical models underlying the diffractive optical elements and nanostructured micro-optics, a wide range of computational tools are used to perform the design and simulation of these elements in a variety of different configurations. These tools cover the full range of computational electromagnetic (CEM) domains from the most simplistic Fraunhofer scalar domain integral solution through to fully vectorial time domain solutions of Maxwell's curl equations. Due to the highly specialised nature of these CEM tools, at present we are only able to offer interested customers access to our codebase on a consultancy basis.
